Samsung Serenata Review: Unique Concept Music Phone

Samsung Serenata
Phone with unique design, frequently times invites amazed from the people. Just take a look at this Samsung phone, collaborated with famous fashion factory: Bang & Olufsen, it’s called “Serenata”. The unique form is designed by well-known designer: David Lewis. “Serenata” structure does not look like regularly phone, but similar with digital music player. Without keypad and QWERTY keyboard, the only navigation button is in the form of wheel button plus back, cancel, call and end call.

The formation of access menu button and it screen is also unusual. The active matrix type LCD with touchscreen technology and 262.000 color depth is placed under the navigation button. Below the button of ‘context’ Music and More. Moreover, Serenata back folder when shifted decorated by earphone system with Hi-Fi stereo quality, similar with Samsung i450. Its sound quality is very good, without distortion effect even volume is in maximum position. It’s because this speaker system is armed by “ICEPower amplification” which has been patented by ‘Bang & Olufsen’.

To differentiate its two functions, Serenata presents special display effect. Red light indicates ‘music’ modus is on. Whereas the blue color is a sign of ‘Phone’ mode is activated. Support of ‘BeoPlayer’ software enables Serenata to access and organizes music file in PC to be transferred to this handset.

High-speed data transfer can be enjoyed via 3G/HSDPA line, which come alongside with GPRS technology. Unhappily, Serenata not equipped with camera.

Storage space for various music file and data entrusted to 4GB internal memory, without addition slot of memory card. While for its connectivity with other peripheral, Serenata relies on Bluetooth v2.0 (A2DP) plus USB 2.0 data cable.
