The 6920G series has 16 inches high definition LCD screen. This Notebook is also operated by Intel Centrino and equipped blu-ray player. But, the hard drive capacity is only half from the 8920G series.

John Spooner, analyst in Technology Business Research, said that presence of Aspire Gemstone Blue is Acer step to enter the “hot” high end notebook market. In this market, there is XPS (made in Dell) notebook and Blackbird notebook from HP.

Acer step to acquisition Gateway and Packard Bell some times ago of course had placed Acer in number three position in United States computer market, after Hewlett-Packard and Dell. But, to go beyond both companies, it’s a real hard step.

Aspire Gemstone Blue will be available in March. It price is between US$ 900 and US$ 1700, depend on its specification.
